Norwest. Firm to rebrand

WHK Horwath, which has an office in Norwest Business Park as well as in Sydney Brisbane and Perth, will change its name to Crowe Horwath later this year, adopting the global accounting and management consultancy organisation it is affiliated with, Crowe Horwath International. WHK Horwath recently leased 700 square metres in a new building at Norwest to service the growing number of clients in the area.

Expressions of interest have been called on a fully serviced 8.4-hectare site, with flexible zoning. It has exposure to Victoria Road, at Rydalmere. In Penrith, a site opposite Westfield is for sale. The 3721-square-metre corner site on the High and Station streets has a GLAR of 6352 square metres. Net income is $1.2 million.

Region. Allied Brands creditors' meeting

Brisbane-based franchisor Allied Brands, which has a number of outlets in Western Sydney trading under brand names such as Baskin-Robbins, Kenny's Cardiology, Cookie Man, has been placed in voluntary receivership. Vincents Chartered Accountants will hold a creditors’ meeting on November 8.
