Minchinbury. Champagne site sold for $1.2m

A former Penfolds 1.2-hectare vineyard, famous for its Great Western Champagne, in Minchin Drive, Minchinbury, has been sold for $1.2 million by Minchinbury Developments as a residnetial development, through Colliers International. A heritage order has been placed on the winery.

West Ryde. $55 million mixed-use project

Minister for Planning, Tony Kelly, has approved the concept plan for the Housing NSW $55 million mixed-use project in West Ryde, within metres of the railway station. The project comprises three buildings of five, eight and 12 storeys; and a total gross floor area (GFA) of up to 13,150 square metres. It involves up to 138 social and private residential apartments with a dwelling mix of 44 per cent social and 56 per cent private. Mr Kelly said future development applications for approval to commence building works would need to be lodged with Ryde City Council.

Erskine Park. Firm buys site for $7.2 million

Goodman Group has sold a 2.4-hectare development site, in Mamre Road, Erskine Park, for $7.2 million to Liebberr-Australia, a subsidiary of a German-based company, a manufacturer of cranes and earth moving machinery. The sale was conducted by Jones Lang LaSalle.
