Penrith. Boost for health services

Part of an industry attraction strategy for life science by the NSW government includes the development of the Penrith Health and Education Precinct, around Nepean Hospital, to attract health professionals, health businesses and research facilities. This includes companies in the development and implementation of skills supply, infrastructure, research and regulatory requirements. The strategy also includes the establishment of a Penrith Health and Well Being Innovation Network of local firms and entrepreneurs to collaborate on growing opportunities in health and wellness. This was an initiative included in the NSW Government Response to the Western Sydney Jobs Summit, held in February.
