Region. $40 million housing package

Minister for Housing and Minister for Western Sydney, David Borger, said a funding package worth almost $40 million would allow low income families to buy a home, revitalise public housing and improve the quality of life for the local communities in Rosemeadow and Ambarvale. He said the package includes $9.89 million to develop homes and building lots that would be sold to owner-occupiers, particularly first homeowners at a discounted price and a further $30 million to upgrade and renovate public housing.

Region. Owners breathing easier

All 2009 stock was gone, he said.
