Indian IT centre not for Parramatta

Polaris, a leading Indian IT company, has decided not to locate its first Australian software laboratory, in Parramatta. Last November, the company announced that Australia beat Singapore for the facility and expected to open in Parramatta last month. “The feedback from our customers is that they would prefer the facility in the Sydney CBD,” said Anil Verma, director, of Polaris Software Sydney. Another leading Indian IT company, Wipro Limited, is expected to open an office in Parramatta shortly to service domestic and international companies.
