New dress code in local pubs

New dress code in local pubs In a move to promote safer drinking in pubs, new licensing laws place a ban on bikies flaunting their colours in Parramatta’s pubs – a first in NSW. Bikies who refuse risk being arrested and charged with trespassing. “There is a perception of fear when people see bikies hanging around in their colours,” said Detective Superintendent Scott Whyte, in The Sunday Telegraph. The Royal Oak Hotel was the first to introduce the new dress code. Licensed cafes, restaurants and clubs, including RSLs and bowling clubs are the next targets.
