Eclipsing Parramatta

North Ryde's business parks, Macquarie Park and Riverside Corporate Park, are eclipsing its competitors, Parramatta and North Sydney, according to "The Sydney Morning Herald. Denys Bizinger, Jones Lang LaSalle, director of industrial and office parks, said the recent zoning change from high-tech industrial to commercial use had encouraged a shift towards creating only office space. Kevin Stanley, regional research manager, for CB Richard Ellis, described Macquarie Park as the darling of the non-CBD office markets. The total size of the North Ryde market is about 630,000 square metres, compared to about 600,000 at Parramatta and about 800,000 at North Sydney, the paper said.
